Poieni 39, an old house brought back to life, a haven of tranquillity and serenity in the heart of Maramures, creating a space that invites guests into the authentic beauty of Romanian culture while offering comfort and a Scandinavian touch.
Through the design, our aim was for all those who cross the threshold of this guest house to be greeted by the warmth of natural materials, traditional craftsmanship, and the harmonious blend of rustic elements with contemporary accents. The interior design pays homage to Romania’s rich heritage, showcasing traditional motifs, handcrafted details, and a color palette inspired by the surrounding natural landscapes.
Each room of the house “Poieni 39” tells its own story, with carefully selected furniture, textiles, and decor that reflect the unique character of Romanian design. From the welcoming bedrooms to the communal spaces, every corner exudes an atmosphere of warmth and tranquility, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the serene ambiance.
The lounge area is designed as a comfortable oasis, with seating arrangements centered around the fireplace and stove. The dining area is a generous space that stands out with a unique table created by the owner himself and chairs of different playful and bohemian designs.
