“Apartment MAV” a small apartment located in an old socialist housing block, where we have undertaken a transformation to maximize space and create a pleasant interior design.
The kitchen has been expanded by partially demolishing a common wall with the living room, creating an extended dining area. On one side, there is a long kitchen counter, slightly deeper than standard, with storage areas designed to be as efficient as possible, finished in white, and with a turquoise blue glass backsplash. On the other side, there is a spacious dining area with a long bench against the wall, providing storage space underneath. Adorned with blue cushions, this bench offers a comfortable spot for relaxation. A long table accompanied by Scandinavian chairs completes the dining area. We have also added playful hexagonal ceramic tiles on the floor, creating an attractive pattern.
Moving into the living room, we notice the balcony that has been enclosed and integrated into the living area, offering an extension of the space. A seating area with a long bench forms an L-shaped arrangement with the living room sofa, providing a versatile and welcoming space. The living room is complemented by a large storage area that includes shelves to form a small library.
The bedroom of Apartment MAV features a minimalist Scandinavian-style bed, and above it, a niche highlights illuminated wallpaper depicting a foggy morning in a forest with fir trees, adding charm to the room. A spacious storage unit, incorporating a small library with wooden accents, provides ample storage space for personal belongings. By the window, there is a carefully positioned desk, creating a dedicated workspace.
The bathroom, although compact, is designed to be efficient. It features immaculate and bright white elements, offering both functionality and style.
